The EUROMAP catalogue currently exposes distinct documents for automatic clamping and couplings, an IMM-to-magnetic-clamping-system electrical interface, an IMM-to-mold-changing-device electrical interface and magnetic-system integration. ISO and IEC pages provide magnetic-clamping, machine, risk, control-system, unexpected-startup and electrical-equipment scope context only. The named-OEM article only demonstrates why system boundaries must be itemized. None proves a NEW ORIENTAL IMM interface, option, compatibility, conformity, certification, safety result, performance or delivered case.

The official 1993 recommendation separates mechanical automatic clamping, console/energy-coupling, connection and ejector-coupling parts.

Boundary: It is an interface reference, not a universal design or proof that any NEW ORIENTAL IMM machine or mold implements its parts. No dimensions, pinout or procedure is reproduced.

EUROMAP 70 Version 1.5 — IMM and Magnetic Clamping System

The May 2015 document defines a bounded electrical connection between an IMM and magnetic clamping system and distinguishes its stated interface variants.

Boundary: It does not establish mechanical fit, magnetic retention, mold-changing-device coordination, safety validation or implementation by NEW ORIENTAL IMM.

Boundary: Its scope is magnetic clamping on horizontal IMMs. It is not generalized to other clamping concepts and none of its limits, choices or procedures transfers to this site.

01Does an EUROMAP 11 reference prove automatic mold-change compatibility?

No. Identify the exact parts and edition relied on, both mating endpoints, the released mold and platen records, clamping concept, ejector and energy couplings, deviations and configured evidence. A document title alone proves neither implementation nor compatibility.

02Are EUROMAP 70 and EUROMAP 71 interchangeable?

No. EUROMAP 70 is scoped to the electrical connection between an IMM and magnetic clamping system. EUROMAP 71 is scoped to the electrical connection between an IMM and mold-changing device. A project may require one, both or another controlled specification depending on the configured architecture.

03Does ISO 23582-1 apply to every quick-clamping system?

No. The public ISO scope is for magnetic clamping systems and expressly excludes hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical clamping systems. Record the actual clamping concept and let qualified parties identify the applicable requirements.

04Does this replace the mold-change and production-startup checklist?
